Quality Matters Recognizes Dr. Joan Reid

Joan ReidOn August 7, 2018, Dr. Joan Reid received Quality Matters Certification for her online course, Human Trafficking: Theory, Research, and Practice, CCJ 4934.

Please join us in congratulating Dr. Reid on this significant achievement!

Dr. Reid’s course is the first on human trafficking to be certified at USF St. Petersburg. Her course is also the first to be certified from the Criminology program and fifteenth course from the College of Arts & Sciences.

Her course is now listed on the QM directory of certified courses from colleges and universities across the nation. Her course will also be listed in the Florida Virtual Campus public course catalog as a “High Quality” course.

To share her commitment to quality with her students, the QM Seal of Recognition and certification information is displayed on the home page of her online course.

Dr. Reid expressed her appreciation for the support that she received from Karla Morris, Manager of Instructional Design Services at USFSP.
