Dr. Reichgelt Receives Third QM Course Certification

Han ReichgeltIt is with great pleasure that we announce that Dr. Han Reichgelt, of USF St. Petersburg’s Kate Tiedemman College of Business, has received Quality Matters Certification for another of his online courses.  Please join OLITS in congratulating him on this achievement!

His graduate course, Data Visualization (ISM 6930), received QM Certification on November 2, 2018. In this course, Dr. Reichgelt guides students in the MBA program through the application of business intelligence and data analysis techniques to improve the quality of leadership decisions.

This is the 18th course to be certified within the Kate Tiedemman College of Business, and the sixth to be certified within the MBA Program. His course is now listed on the QM database of certified courses and will also be recognized in the Florida Virtual Campus public course catalog as a “High Quality” course.

This marks a continuation of the recognition of Dr. Reichgelt’s commitment to high quality learning experiences for his students as he has previously received certification for two of his other online courses. His undergraduate course, Business Process Analysis (ISM 4930), received certification on March 6, 2017 and his graduate course, ERP Systems Analysis (ISM 6930), received certification on March 9, 2017.

When asked about his advice for those preparing to go through the review process, he stated:

Thanks to the work OLITS and Karla Morris in particular, and thanks to the thorough work of the QM reviewers, the course has improved considerably and I would encourage every faculty member who teaches online to try to obtain QM certification for their courses.
