Dr. Hemant Merchant Receives Second QM Course Certification

Hemant MerchantOLITS is very pleased to announce that Dr. Hemant Merchant, of the USFSP Kate Tiedemann College of Business, has received Quality Matters certification for another course, International Business (GEB 3373). This course was awarded certification on September 12, 2018.

This is the second course for which Dr. Merchant has received QM Certification. His graduate course that is part of the MBA program, Global Business Environments (GEB 6368), was awarded certification on June 6, 2018.

In this course his students are introduced to key dimensions of international business activity by adopting the perspective of a general manager who is responsible for creating and sustaining an economically viable company.

Dr. Merchant worked collaboratively with Carol Fisher, the Instructional Designer for the college’s MBA program, in preparation for the QM Review process. Dr. Merchant’s courses are now listed on the QM database of award-winning courses from colleges and universities across the globe.
