Dr. Jenifer Hartman Receives Third QM Course Certification

Jenifer HartmanThat’s right, Dr. Jenifer Hartman has received QM Certification for a third online course! Congratulations, Dr. Hartman!

As part of her continued commitment to quality learning experiences for her students, Administrative Analysis and Change (EDA 6106), was certified through the rigorous QM Peer Review process on July 23, 2018.

This course, along with The Principalship (EDA 6503 certified July 9, 2018) and Principles and Practices of Educational Supervision (EDS 6050 certified August 23, 2017), is part of the Master’s Degree program in Educational Leadership here at USFSP’s College of Education.

Her work in course development and quality certification have helped the program to make significant progress toward their goal of obtaining QM Certification for all courses in the degree program by the end of this year.

Quality Matters Recognizes Dr. Mary Lippitt

On July 2, 2018, Dr. Mary Lippitt’s Organizational Change and Development course, MAN 6289, received Quality Matters certification through the peer review process. This is the fourth course in the Online Master of Business Administration Program to receive QM Certification.

The QM peer review process is rigorous and focuses on the quality of course design and alignment of materials. The reviewers apply 43 standards from a research-based rubric. Dr. Lippitt was supported by Carol Fisher, the Instructional Designer for the college’s  MBA program.

Her course is now listed on the QM database of award-winning courses from colleges and universities across the nation. Additionally, the QM Seal of Recognition will now be displayed within her online course.

She provides a high-quality online course for her MBA students through integrating her professional experience and content expertise with best practices for online learning.

Dr. Christina Salnaitis Receives Second QM Course Certification

On July 20, 2018, Dr. Salnaitis received Quality Matters Certification for her online course, Physiological Psychology (PSB 4004c).

This is the second course for which Dr. Salnaitis has received QM Certification. Her course, Cognitive Psychology (EXP 4680), was awarded certification in December of 2016.

Dr. Salnaitis is joined by her colleagues in the Psychology Department in their commitment to high-quality, online learning experiences for our students. Her course is the eighth online course certified within the Psychology Department at USFSP.

This course is now listed in the QM database of award-winning courses from colleges and universities across the nation. Additionally, the QM Seal of Recognition will now be displayed on the front page of her course.

OLITS is very pleased to announce that Dr. Jenifer Hartman, of the USFSP College of Education, has received Quality Matters certification for The Principalship (EDA 6503). Her course was awarded certification on July 9, 2018.

This is the second course for which Dr. Hartman has received QM Certification. Her course, Principles and Practices of Educational Supervision (EDS 6050), was awarded certification on August 23, 2017

Dr. Hartman developed these courses as part of the Masters Degree program in Educational Leadership. The program built a fully online track to better accommodate the busy schedule of professional teachers and to extend their reach to other candidates throughout the state. The Educational Leadership faculty have come together with the goal of obtaining QM Certification for all courses in the degree program by the end of this year.
