Quality Matters Recognizes Professor Margarita Altuna

Please join Online Learning and Instructional Technology Services in congratulating Professor Margarita Altuna on receiving Quality Matters certification for her online course!

On May 15, 2018, Professor Altuna’s Spanish I course, SPN 1120, received Quality Matters certification through the rigorous peer review process.

When asked about her experience with developing her course and submitting for QM review, she shares:

My commitment is to quality and continuous improvement to nurture regular, hybrid and online students with a well-conceived, well-designed, well-presented course.

In addition to her commitment to providing high quality learning experiences for students at USFSP, Professor Altuna is also a Quality Matters Peer Reviewer. She has served as Subject Matter Expert and External Reviewer on 11 course reviews; providing feedback and guidance for Faculty other institutions across the United States.

Her course is now listed in the QM database of award-winning courses from colleges and universities across the nation. Additionally, the QM Seal of Recognition will now be displayed on the front page of her online course.
