Quality Matters recognizes Dr. Deanna Michael

Deanna MichaelPlease join Online Learning and Instructional Technology Services in congratulating Dr. Deanna Michael on receiving Quality Matters certification for her online course!

On March 27, 2018, Dr. Michael’s Schools and Society course, EDF 3604, received Quality Matters certification through the peer review process. The peer review is guided by a research based rubric of best practices for high quality online course design.

When asked about advice for fellow faculty going through course development an considering the Quality Matters peer review process she shares:

Focus on developing measurable course and module outcomes and work closely with the OLITS team.

Her course is now listed on the QM database of award-winning courses from colleges and universities across the nation. Additionally, the QM Seal of Recognition will now be displayed on the front page of her online course to signify to her students the commitment to a high-quality learning experience.
